TECHNOSTYLE WOOD COATING:
Cladding represents the aesthetic and most visible layer of a building. The choice of the material from which it is made is therefore essential to create an environment according to our needs. The exterior finish makes it possible to take full advantage of the interiors and exteriors of a building, on the contrary, a choice that is not optimized with the environment and the intended use can be counterproductive in terms of aesthetics, functionality and energy savings.
A WIDE CHOICE
There are a wide variety of coating materials, each with advantages and disadvantages related to composition, printability, durability, cost, and energy efficiency. Technological innovation and research in the field of materials has allowed today to have infinite possibilities of choice and use. Some are more suitable for exteriors, others for humid and interior environments: tropical woods such as ipe, mahogany, camarù or teak are suitable for humid environments or interiors that tend to get wet, such as bathrooms and kitchens. Cedar, spruce, and larch, on the other hand, are best suited for the outdoors.
CHROMATIC TRANSFORMATIONS
Depending on the type of wood and its use, internal and external, the material will undergo a natural oxidation with different shades depending on direct exposure to sunlight and precipitation and bad weather. Over time, the wood will also undergo color tone transformations that can reach gray and black.
OUR IDEA
All our idea of architecture and design comes from wood. This material has represented for centuries an inexhaustible source of possibilities and applicability in buildings, their architecture and internal and external finishes. Wood has been particularly shaded in recent decades, often covered with layers of paint to alter its color and modify its properties. The material perfectly reflects the idea he has in the construction of buildings that promote recyclability and sustainability. Therefore, the design and architecture must be able to enhance the characteristics of this coating and adapt it to the most optimal contexts.
For years we have believed in the strength of wood and its natural beauty, uncontaminated and free of altering substances. In fact, the natural product evolves and transforms over time, as well as architecture, our tastes and our needs.
