RAISED ACCESS FLOORS

FLOOR HIGH TECHNICIAN TECHNOSTYLE :

The raised floor [1] (also called floating floor) is a support essentially consisting of panels of standard size 60×60 cm and a raised metal frame.

The panel in turn consists of three main elements:

Upper coating or walkable surface (which can be porcelain stoneware, laminate, PVC, rubber, linoleum, granite, parquet, etc.)
Inner core (38mm thick high density wood chipboard or 30mm thick calcium sulphate)
Bottom balancer (usually 5 micron aluminum foil, as a moisture barrier, or a steel plate / pan, to increase flow performance).
Everything is assembled, calibrated and sharpened.

The raised frames can also vary, with columns and crosspieces of various types, to support more or less heavy loads, even if the minimum load that a raised floor can withstand is generally three times that of the underlying floor, and adjustable. in height to reach finished floor heights even higher than one meter in height.

The study and technology have led to the development of the construction system, both from the design point of view (you can opt for oversized panels such as 60×120 cm and others), and from the point of view of safety, being able to install the raised floor. to make it anti-seismic.

The usefulness of this type of floor lies in the effective sound insulation between the rooms separated from the floor, and in the possibility of hosting all the systems in the space created in the basement (plenum). It also allows perfect modularity and interchangeability of the elements, allowing at any time to inspect the environment just under the floor, ensuring ease of maintenance of the systems over time. This application offers multiple advantages in the continuation of the works for the construction of the building (it is not necessary to wait for the testing of the systems before proceeding with the laying of the floor, which also saves time in the execution and conclusion of the general works). Ideal floor type for installation in executive, advertising, data centers, restaurants, pavilions, etc.
